Our tools are evolving

At iX Studios, we have been working with Webflow as our primary platform for web design and development for years. Over the past year, Webflow has rolled out several impressive updates that directly impact the quality and speed of our work.

Webflow + Claude AI via MCP

Webflow is now officially connected to Claude AI through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This allows us to perform actions directly from an AI environment within Webflow: from creating and updating CMS content to running SEO and usability audits. The result is a faster, smarter workflow for both technical and content-related tasks.

New Edit Mode for clients

The old Webflow Editor is being replaced by an entirely new Edit Mode. Clients can now edit content in the same environment as the designer, including support for multilingual websites. Up to 3 users per site are free. The legacy Editor will be permanently retired on August 4, 2026.

Real-time collaboration — multiplayer

Webflow has rolled out real-time collaboration to all sites and plans. Multiple team members can now work on the same page simultaneously, similar to collaborating in Google Docs or Figma. No more waiting, no conflicts — just building together.

GSAP animations: more professional than ever

Following the acquisition of GreenSock (GSAP) in late 2024, Webflow has fully integrated the animation engine. Since summer 2025, you can visually build advanced animations like ScrollTrigger, SplitText and staggers through a horizontal timeline — no code required. This opens the door to richer, more interactive websites.

AI Site Builder and Webflow AI

With the AI Site Builder, you can set up a site structure or prototype faster than ever based on a description. Additionally, Webflow AI helps rewrite and improve content directly from the editor. Ideal for reaching a strong first version faster.

Security and speed

Webflow has also done significant work under the hood. Think improved security, faster load times, audit logs for enterprise teams, and an enhanced CMS with auto-save and support for up to 1 million items per collection.
